K&L Gates Adds Prominent Litigation Partner to Growing Houston Office


The Houston office of global law firm K&L Gates LLP welcomes John F. Sullivan III as a partner in the firm’s commercial disputes practice. Sullivan joins K&L Gates from Watt Beckworth Thompson Henneman & Sullivan LLP .

With a focus on complex business litigation over 25 years of practice, Sullivan has handled disputes involving commercial agreements, intellectual property rights, officer and director responsibilities, and unfair competition in the state and federal courts for both local and international publicly and privately held companies. Afirst-chair civil litigator with significant experience in tort litigation, he has represented clients in cases arising from catastrophic accidents, as well as product and professional liability and environmental actions. In recent years, Sullivan has primarily concentrated on cases in the oil and gas industry.

Sullivan also has been recognized for his considerable efforts in the pro bono representation of human trafficking victims and children seeking asylum.
