Amicus Search Group’s Lee Allbritton Quoted by Texas Lawyer

FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE

Amicus Search Group’s founding partner, J. Lee Allbritton, Jr., was quoted in the March 30 edition of the Texas Lawyer. The article, “BigTex Firms Make Fewer Partners for Second Year in a Row”, explored the various causes potentially related to reduced partnership classes at Texas’ largest law firms.

Allbritton cited several factors as a potential cause in saying, “It could be the firm is trying to preserve leverage and profits per partner… It could mean that there frankly weren’t as many candidates in a given year. It could be that an inordinate number of candidates were in practice areas that have been weak in recent years so their numbers did not justify promotion to partnership.”
